When you book Barlings you will be the only guests as we take just one group at a time. All our holidays offer guests free exclusive use of all the Barlings facilities (heated indoor swimming pool, sauna, pool table, squash court (with badminton / table tennis / squash), and walks in the Barlings 20 acre wood. The swimming pool, games court and sauna are open from 8:30 am to 10:00 pm. Children and babies are welcome in the pool but swimming nappies must be worn where appropriate. The Barn has seven bedrooms and seven bathrooms and spacious lounge and dining areas with the Wanws offering a further four bedrooms (three with showers). The farmhouse has a lovely lounge with inglenook fireplace and an eight seater table. Upstairs the master bedroom is en-suite with wonderful views down the valley. The second bedroom is a twin room (with room for a third bed) situated next to a family bathroom. Goat Cottage is a bungalow possessing a kingsize ensuite and lounge with sofabed, which makes an ideal space to escape to! The properties are a few yards apart either side of the swimming pool. Our price also includes heat / light, logs for woodburner and beds made up. We do ask guests to bring their own towels and there is a £ 200 security deposit payable on arrival and returned to guests within a week of departure assuming all is well.
Unfortunately, we are not able to return deposits or final payments unless we are able to re-sell the holiday in question. We do therefore suggest guests take out appropriate cancellation insurance.
We happily accept up to four well-behaved dogs; there may be a modest charge for extra cleaning at certain times of the year. Please note that due to our lovely location surrounded by farmland, fireworks and Chinese Lanterns are not permitted at Barlings Barn.
